Effective July 2026 — Classic Auto Garage for iOS
We collect nothing. Classic Auto Garage has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no servers of ours. We never see, receive, or store any of your information.
Everything you enter — vehicles, fuel logs, service records, receipt photos, notes, shops, and insurance details — is stored on your device and, if you're signed into iCloud, synced through your personal, private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. That data is accessible only to you through your Apple ID. Deleting the app does not delete your iCloud data; you can remove it via iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud.
Two features contact external services, both anonymously and only when you use them:
• VIN decoding and vehicle model lookups query the U.S. government's free NHTSA vPIC database (vpic.nhtsa.dot.gov). Only the VIN or make/year you enter is sent.
• Business lookup for shops and fuel stations uses Apple Maps search, subject to Apple's privacy policy.
The app may request: notifications (service reminders), camera (photographing receipts and your cars), and write-only calendar access (adding service due dates you choose). Photo and contact selection use Apple's system pickers, which share only the items you pick. The app never requests your location.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
If a future feature ever changes any of the above, this policy will be updated here before that feature ships.
